About Patrick Duffy

Patrick Duffy started his career as a CPA spending four years in audit at Arthur Andersen.  There he learned the very important skill of listening to his clients to understand their business.  After Andersen, Pat took a position as Controller for a small commercial real estate firm specializing in the development and management of Class A high rise buildings.


As this real estate firm grew, Pat’s role transitioned from primarily accounting and finance with a just a dash of IT, to the full time management of the IT infrastructure.  He was responsible for designing a building a network that grew from one server at one site supporting 10 users to a sixteen site network supporting nearly 300 users in six cities.


Among the many major initiatives undertaken were the following:

  • LAN and WAN infrastructure design and build including telephony.

  • Implementation of Yardi Enterprise and Voyager accounting and property management systems including numerous reporting and business process initiatives.

  • Leveraging cloud services.

  • Virtualization of all critical servers.

  • Disaster recovery and  business continuity planning.  System successfully put to the test during Hurricane Sandy.


This rich breadth of experience allows Pat to bring a unique business perspective to IT challenges.
